About the Client:

Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced nursing team specializing in stroke rehabilitation and mental health to provide holistic care for our family member. This project involves implementing a structured rehabilitation program, managing antidepressant medication, and providing ongoing psychological support to improve his physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
Physical Rehabilitation:

Develop and implement a personalized physical therapy plan focusing on improving mobility, strength, and coordination affected by hemiplegia.
Conduct regular physical therapy sessions to facilitate recovery of motor function, incorporating exercises to enhance balance and prevent falls.
Utilize assistive devices and adaptive equipment as needed to support the patient’s mobility and independence in daily activities.
Medication Management:

Administer and manage antidepressant medications to address the patient’s depression, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects.
Collaborate with the patient’s primary care physician and psychiatrist to adjust medication regimens as necessary based on the patient’s response and progress.
Psychological Support:

Provide individual counseling sessions to support the patient’s emotional well-being and help him cope with the psychological impact of the stroke.
Implement cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to address depressive symptoms and promote positive thinking patterns.

Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:

Certification or extensive experience in stroke rehabilitation nursing and mental health care.
Proficiency in developing and implementing physical rehabilitation programs and managing antidepressant medication.
Skills and Competencies:

Strong therapeutic communication skills to build rapport with the patient and provide effective counseling.
