We are seeking an experienced nursing team with expertise in mental health and addiction recovery to provide comprehensive support for our family member. This project involves medication management, therapeutic interventions for mood stabilization, and ongoing support to maintain sobriety and overall mental health stability.

Responsibilities:
Medication Management:

Administer and manage medications for bipolar disorder, including mood stabilizers and antipsychotic medications, ensuring adherence to the treatment plan and monitoring for side effects.
Collaborate with the client’s psychiatrist to adjust medication dosages as needed based on his response and progress.
Therapy for Mood Stabilization:

Provide individual therapy sessions focusing on mood stabilization techniques, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
Implement cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help the client manage mood swings, identify triggers, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
Support for Maintaining Sobriety:

Offer support and counseling for maintaining sobriety, including strategies to avoid triggers and manage cravings.
Facilitate participation in support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA), encouraging a strong support network.
Crisis Management:

Develop and implement a crisis management plan to address any acute mental health episodes or potential relapse situations.
Provide immediate intervention and support during crises, coordinating with emergency services if necessary.
Psychoeducation:

Educate the client and his family about bipolar disorder and substance use disorder, promoting understanding and effective management of these conditions.
Offer training on recognizing early warning signs of mood episodes and relapse, and teach strategies to prevent escalation.
Lifestyle and Wellness Support:

Encourage healthy lifestyle choices, including regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, and good sleep hygiene, to support overall mental health and well-being.
Assist in creating a structured daily routine to promote stability and reduce the risk of mood fluctuations.
