Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced nursing team with expertise in autism spectrum disorder and sensory integration to provide comprehensive support for our child. This project entails implementing tailored interventions, including sensory integration therapy, sensory breaks, and sensory-friendly strategies, to help him manage sensory overload and enhance his emotional regulation and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

– **Conduct Comprehensive Assessments:**
– Perform a thorough assessment of our child’s sensory sensitivities, triggers, and coping mechanisms to develop a personalized intervention plan.
– Regularly monitor his progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure effectiveness and address emerging needs.

– **Provide Sensory Integration Therapy:**
– Implement sensory integration therapy to help our child process and regulate sensory information more effectively. This includes activities that involve tactile, auditory, visual, and proprioceptive stimuli to improve sensory processing and integration.
– Work with our child in various settings, such as home, school, and community environments, to generalize sensory integration skills.

– **Offer Sensory Breaks and Relaxation Techniques:**
– Provide sensory breaks and relaxation techniques to help our child manage sensory overload, including opportunities for quiet time, deep pressure activities, and access to sensory-friendly spaces.
