Our primary focus is to provide our child with the necessary support and resources to improve mobility, enhance independence, and foster overall well-being.

Project Overview:
We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals who are compassionate and skilled in pediatric rehabilitation to provide comprehensive support for our child. This project entails a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on our child’s ongoing needs and progress.

Responsibilities:

Implement physical therapy interventions tailored to address our child’s spastic diplegia and mobility challenges associated with cerebral palsy, focusing on improving gait, strength, and functional independence.
Provide expertise in the selection, fitting, and monitoring of orthotic devices to support our child’s mobility and optimize gait patterns.
Utilize assistive technology and devices, such as mobility aids or communication devices, to enhance our child’s functional independence and participation in daily activities.
Collaborate closely with our child’s medical team, including pediatricians, physical therapists, orthopedic specialists, and assistive technology specialists, to coordinate care, optimize treatment strategies, and address emerging needs and challenges.
Educate and support our family in understanding our child’s condition, treatment options, and how to best support our child’s development and well-being at home and in various settings.
Requirements:

Certification as a pediatric physical therapist or relevant healthcare professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation or cerebral palsy management.
Proficiency in implementing physical therapy interventions for children with cerebral palsy, specifically addressing spastic diplegia and mobility challenges, with a focus on improving gait and functional independence.
Expertise in the selection, fitting, and monitoring of orthotic devices for children with cerebral palsy, ensuring optimal fit, comfort, and effectiveness.
Experience in utilizing assistive technology and devices to enhance functional independence and participation in daily activities for children with cerebral palsy.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor, fostering trust and collaboration with our family and interdisciplinary healthcare teams involved in our child’s care and support.
