Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our caregiving team on a contractual basis, with a focus on providing specialized care for our 55-year-old family member with a terminal brain tumor. This role involves palliative care, pain management, and support for managing symptoms to help her maintain comfort and improve her overall quality of life during this challenging time.
Responsibilities:
Palliative Care: Provide comprehensive palliative care to address our family member’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Offer compassionate support and guidance to help her cope with the challenges of her terminal illness, promote dignity, and enhance her quality of life throughout the disease trajectory.
Pain Management: Coordinate pain management interventions to address our family member’s severe headaches and discomfort associated with her brain tumor. Collaborate with palliative care specialists and pain management experts to assess pain intensity, identify underlying causes, and implement personalized pain relief strategies, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, to optimize symptom control and enhance her comfort.
Symptom Management: Offer expert symptom management interventions to address our family member’s fatigue and other distressing symptoms associated with her terminal brain tumor. Utilize evidence-based approaches to assess symptom severity, identify contributing factors, and implement tailored interventions to alleviate discomfort, improve functional status, and enhance her overall well-being.
Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and counseling to our family member and her loved ones as they navigate the emotional challenges of living with a terminal illness. Offer a compassionate presence, active listening, and validation of their feelings and concerns, fostering a supportive environment that promotes emotional healing and resilience.

Requirements:
