Project Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and experienced nurses to provide comprehensive care for our family member who has suffered a severe TBI. This project entails a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension based on the evolving needs of his rehabilitation journey.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and specialized care tailored to the needs of a TBI patient.
Implement and support cognitive rehabilitation exercises to promote mental recovery.
Conduct physical therapy exercises to improve mobility and physical strength.
Administer medications and follow prescribed treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor the patient’s overall health conditions and vital signs to ensure stability and safety.
Supervise the patient to prevent injury and ensure a secure living environment.
Collaborate closely with family members and other caregivers to maintain a supportive and cohesive care plan.
Requirements:

Certification as a registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in TBI or neurological care.
Proficiency in cognitive rehabilitation and physical therapy techniques.
Strong understanding of TBI-related health conditions and recovery processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a home environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to the unique needs of the patient.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor, fostering a supportive and collaborative relationship with the family and other caregivers.
Patient Case:

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Patient: 35-year-old male

Condition: The patient has suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, resulting in significant cognitive and physical impairments. He requires comprehensive and ongoing care to support his recovery and daily functioning.

Care Plan:

Cognitive Rehabilitation: Implement structured cognitive exercises to enhance memory, attention, problem-solving skills, and overall cognitive function.
Physical Therapy: Assist with and perform physical therapy routines aimed at improving motor skills, coordination, and physical strength.
